The Vice President of Liberia, Joseph Boakai says, “We must tackle youth unemployment as a matter of urgency and failure and is not an option.”Mr. Boakai further stated, “Youth employment issues which include aspects of job creation, unemployment, skill building, formal and informal sector, access to capital for young people, leadership and entrepreneur skills, rural –urban migration are the key factors when defining the welfare to youths in Africa nowadays.
Speaking at the program held at the P.A. Ribhouse, the Vice President said, “They want to thank the National Democratic Institute (NDI), for the strong supportive role taken in not only this crucial area of focus on the youths, but also its many other productive engagements with other nationally vital areas of concern.”
